The terms and conditions of service constitute a valid agreement between you ("Students" or "Users") and the Company ("Cizoti Nigeria Limited") regarding your use of the Cizoti Learning platform (the "Service"). Users agree to use this site for learning and lawful purposes only. Users may not use this site to transmit, distribute, store or destroy any material in violation of any applicable law or regulation, in a manner that will infringe the copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of others or violate the privacy or publicity or other personal rights of others that is libellous, obscene, offensive, threatening, defamatory, abusive or hateful. By accessing any part of Cizoti Learning and purchasing Courses via the website, Students agree to be bound by these terms and conditions of service.
1. Subscription and Payment for Courses
1.1 Subscription: Cizoti Learning offers GIS and related courses online. To take one of these courses, you need to become a registered Student to use our services.
1.2 Payment Method: You can pay by credit/debit card or direct bank transfer. We do NOT ACCEPT payment by instalment at this time. We do not access, store or collect your credit/debit card and bank account information.
1.3 Subscription: All courses must be purchased at least fourteen (14) days before the scheduled time of commencement of courses via our website.
1.4 Subscription: Purchased courses are non-transferable between Students and may not be sold or exchanged.
2. Cancellation of Courses
2.1 You may e-mail cancellation request to us at: ask@cizotilearning.com. Please include your registered Name and the e-mail address as provided in the Student's account.
2.2 In the event that a purchased course cannot be attended, you MUST cancel the course at least ten (10) days before its scheduled commencement.
2.3 Upon the cancellation of a course in compliance with the aforementioned minimum of ten (10) days' notice, a refund of the amount paid, subject to a 25% deduction of the contingency fee will be arranged.
2.4 A cancellation notice which falls short of at least ten (10) days' notice is subject to our terms. Please see our refund policy for more information.
3. Punctuality to Live Discussions and Video Training Sessions
3.1 The time schedule is to be strictly adhered to. There will not be an extension of discussion sessions or rescheduling of live video lessons due to the lateness of Students.
3.2 Students are enjoined to login at least five (5) minutes before the scheduled time of commencement of a Live Discussion and Video training sessions.
3.3 Students who are late after the scheduled time of commencement of a live session will NOT have extended time; however, there will be immediate access to discussion log and download of recordings made from live video classes within 24 hours after a class was conducted for offline use.
4. Conduct of Students
4.1 Students MUST be polite to tutors and other participants on the forum. Students found to be in breach of this rule will have their course subscription terminated and are not guaranteed any refunds. Please see our refund policy for more details.
4.2 It is the responsibility of the Students to report any abuse or lateness on the part of the tutors.
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Money-back Guarantee: Money-back guarantee is for first-time students only (renewal or upgrade does not apply). As a first-time student, you can cancel your subscription 10 days to the commencement date of your course, or after your first lesson, subject to a 35% deduction of the contingency fee paid.
5.2 Failure to cancel your subscription within the allowable period will be considered breach of contract and your payment will not be refunded. Please note that our refund policy does not cover returning students.
5.3 Termination from the use of our service due to a breach of our rules or code of conduct does not guarantee any refunds regardless whether it is for first-time or returning students.
6. Changes to Terms and Conditions of Service
6.1 Cizoti Nigeria Limited reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
6.2 Updated terms and conditions will be uploaded on the training website and attention drawn to same on the homepage of the website.
6.3 Updated terms and conditions constitute a binding agreement between Cizoti Nigeria Limited and the Users. Users are therefore advised to check the website regularly.
7. Copyright and Permissions
Copyright of all contents on this site is owned by Cizoti Nigeria Limited. No materials on this site may be reproduced, stored, altered or further distributed without prior written permission.
8. Responsibility
Cizoti Nigeria Limited does not monitor the activities of Students and all Users on this site but reserves the right to do so. Cizoti Learning is not liable to resolve any dispute arising from deals, interactions, agreement entered into between Students or Users on the site, neither does it guarantee any form of mediation resulting in disputes not related to studies.
9. Prohibited Uses
It is strictly prohibited to use this site to disrupt or damage the site, its contents or its security measures or to harass or disparage the Company, its Services or Personnel. Users are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security measures on this site, including and without limitation to:
9.1 Using false passwords or one belonging to another User to gain unauthorized access to data intended for another User;
9.2 Logging into a server or account by means of software manipulations which such User is not authorized to access;
9.3 9.3 Failing to notify the Company of password compromise or granting unauthorized access to your account by disclosing your password to a third party;
9.4 9.4 Attempting to scan, examine or alter the system's vulnerability to breach security or authentication measures without proper authorization; thereby interfering with the site's services through overloading, flooding, mail bombing or crashing;
9.5 9.5 Spamming through sending unsolicited emails including promotions and advertising of products and services;
9.6 9.6 Hijacking all or any part of the site content, deleting or changing any site content, creating links to/from the site without specific written permission, and/or forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email and newsletter posting.
10. Violations
Cizoti Nigeria Limited reserves the absolute right to determine if any user violates these rules and to act as it deems appropriate in the event of any violation. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. Cizoti Nigeria Limited will investigate occurrences which may involve such violations and may cooperate with law enforcement authorities to identify, disclose and prosecute Users who are involved in such violations.
11. Disputes Resolution
11.1 If a dispute arises under or in connection with this terms and conditions of service between Cizoti Nigeria Limited and its Users are unable to resolve amicably within 30 business days of notice of the dispute by one party to the other, the dispute shall be referred to a mediator to be appointed by agreement of the parties.
11.2 If mediation fails within 10 business days of the appointment of the mediator, either party may seek redress of the dispute in the court of law.
12. Applicable Law
This site as well as these terms are subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Cizoti Nigeria Limited reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of Service with or without notice. Cizoti Nigeria Limited reserves the right for the final interpretation of these Terms and Conditions of Service.
